We process personal data in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP). We only collect the data we need to answer your request and provide our service.

Everything else only once you agree in the banner or in the cookie settings. Your choice applies for 12 months; after that we ask again – and also when the list of services changes. Fonts and images are stored on this website’s server.

Google Tag Manager, Google Ads and Google Consent Mode
We advertise on Google and want to know whether a call or an enquiry came about through one of these ads. For this purpose – only with your consent to the “Marketing” category – we use Google Tag Manager, which loads Google Ads conversion tracking. The provider for users in Switzerland is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland; the affiliated company is Google LLC (USA). What is measured is when you tap the phone number, an email address or WhatsApp, or successfully submit the call-back form – not the content of your enquiry. We do not pass any phone numbers, email addresses or names to Google. Without your consent, this website does not load any script from Google, and no data is sent to Google. With your consent, Google Tag Manager is loaded; Google Ads sets cookies and links an ad click (click ID “gclid”, “gbraid” or “wbraid” from the address) to a contact; for technical reasons, Google also receives your IP address and information about your browser. Via Google Consent Mode, we inform Google of your choice; personalised advertising always remains switched off.
Disclosure of data to Google (USA)
Data from Google Tag Manager and Google Ads may be transferred to Google LLC in the USA. Google LLC participates in the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework; since 15 September 2024, Switzerland has recognised an adequate level of data protection for participating companies. Google also processes the data for its own purposes in accordance with Google’s privacy policy (policies.google.com/privacy).
Changing or withdrawing consent
You can give, adjust by category or withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future: via at the bottom of every page. When you withdraw consent, we delete the cookies of the services concerned for this website in your browser. Cookies that Google sets on its own domains can be deleted in your browser settings. The website works fully without consent.
Proof of consent
So that we can prove your consent, your browser sends a record to our server each time you make a choice in the banner: a random ID, the version of the list of services, the chosen categories and the type of choice. The server adds the time. We do not store an IP address or any browser or device details. Apart from that, the ID is only in your browser (“sbk-consent”). We delete the record after 365 days.
Our own anonymous count of contact actions
To understand which pages lead to enquiries, we count on our own server how often per day and per page the phone number, WhatsApp or the call-back link is tapped, the call-back form is started and submitted, and the website language is changed. Only the date, page, page language, type of event and a number are stored. We do not store any IP address or any device or browser identifier, and we do not set cookies; it is not possible to identify you personally. The figures are not passed on to third parties.
Chosen language in your browser
If you change the language, your browser remembers the chosen language locally (localStorage) so that it can be highlighted in the language switcher. This information does not leave your device and is not transmitted to us. You can delete it at any time via your browser settings.
Hosting and server log files
The website is hosted on a server of DigitalOcean, LLC (USA) in Frankfurt am Main (Germany). When the site is accessed, the server stores technically necessary information in log files: IP address, date and time, page accessed, previously visited page (referrer), status code, amount of data transferred and browser identifier, and in the event of errors also an error message. This data is used for secure operation and is automatically deleted after 14 days. Germany provides an adequate level of data protection within the meaning of the FADP. As the provider is based in the USA, access from there cannot be completely ruled out.
Call-back form
If you use the form, we process your phone number and the pest you selected and – if provided – your name, postcode, message and photos in order to call you back and assess the infestation. We also store which page and in which language the request was sent and, to prevent misuse, an encrypted short form (hash) of your IP address and your browser identifier. Photos are not published; they are stored on our server outside the public area. Please do not upload photos in which people can be recognised. Photos may contain additional information such as the location where they were taken. The details and photos are forwarded to us by email. To send emails, we use the Resend service (Resend, Inc., USA), which processes messages on servers in the EU. We delete the details as soon as they are no longer needed for processing, unless there is a legal obligation to retain them. On our server, requests and photos are automatically deleted after 365 days at the latest, backup copies after a further 14 days.
Contact by phone, email or WhatsApp
If you call or write to us, we process your details in order to answer your request. If you use WhatsApp, WhatsApp’s (Meta’s) privacy policy also applies.
Your rights
You can at any time request information about the data we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, object to its processing and request a copy of your data in a common electronic format. To do so, write to info@schaedlings-experte.ch. You can also contact the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).
