Typical signs

These signs point to an infestation. On the phone, we help you assess what you have found.

Photo: Pigeons
  • Droppings always in the same place

Fresh droppings on the window sill, balcony railing or canopy show that pigeons perch there regularly.

  • Nesting material

Twigs and feathers in niches, behind gutters or under solar panels point to a nesting site.

  • Cooing in the morning

Pigeons that coo around the house early in the morning usually roost very close by.

  • Feathers and discolouration

If feathers lie on the balcony and stone or paintwork shows white crusts, the spot has been occupied for some time.

Why you need a professional

  • The cause, not the symptom

Certified experts identify the pest and find out where the infestation is coming from. Only then is it really over.

  • Gentle methods

Methods and products are tailored to the flat, house or business – with consideration for children and pets.

  • Discreet and clean

We work unobtrusively and leave the rooms tidy. We discuss the appointment and the procedure with you alone.

Useful facts about pigeons

Feral pigeons keep returning to places where they can land, sleep and breed safely. Over time, a lot of droppings build up there, soiling façades and balconies.

Pigeons breed several times a year and are very loyal to their nesting site. Where there is leftover bread or bird food, a flock also grows quickly.

The solution is deterrence rather than extermination: landing and nesting sites are secured so that the pigeons look for somewhere else. We choose the system to suit the façade, balcony and roof and fit it so that it is hardly noticeable.

How it works

From your call onwards, we take over – step by step.

  1. You call us

You describe where the pigeons perch and how bad the soiling is. A photo makes the first assessment easier.

  2. On-site visit

The specialist checks landing and nesting sites, how easy they are to reach and which system will hold there: nets, spikes or tensioned wire.

  3. Cleaning and securing

Soiled surfaces are cleaned with protective equipment. The deterrent is then fitted so that the pigeons cannot injure themselves.

What you’ll want to know before calling

Honest answers to the questions almost everyone asks. We are happy to clarify anything else in person.

What does it cost?

Our prices are transparent and fair. Give us a call – we will discuss your situation and the next steps.

Is it safe for children and pets?

Nets, spikes and tensioned wires keep pigeons away mechanically. No poisons are used that could endanger children or pets, and the birds are not harmed.

Will it stay discreet?

Yes. We arrive in neutral, unmarked vehicles and make sure your case is handled discreetly, so that outsiders notice nothing of the infestation.

How long does it take?

Small areas such as a balcony are often done in a single appointment. Larger façades take more time and sometimes an aerial work platform.

Questions about pigeons

Your question isn’t listed?
Ask us directly: 043 508 75 29

Is it allowed to simply drive pigeons away?

Yes, with deterrent systems that do not harm the birds. Killing or poisoning them is not a solution and is generally not permitted.

Are pigeon droppings dangerous?

They can contain pathogens and damage stone, metal and paintwork. That is why we only clean soiled surfaces with protective equipment.

Do decoys like plastic crows help?

Usually only for a short time. Pigeons soon realise there is no danger and come back.

Who is responsible in an apartment building?

For the façade and roof, usually the owners or the property management. For your own balcony, you can often have a deterrent fitted yourself.
